¿Hace solamente una semana que estaba en Jyväskylä? / Was it only a week ago that I was in Jyväskylä?

TRABAJO. No se ha acabado la lucha todavía. Mis pelados me siguen encantando. Quiero subrayar: no son muñecos o niños pequeños. Son adultos que saben opinarse también y a veces lo hacen con fuerza. Por eso he usado venda elástica en mi mano en estos días. Me siguen desafiando cada día en muchas maneras. Siempre me asombran su potencia y su sentido de humor.

CASA. Estos últimos días he estado con gripe. El viernes y el sábado pasé en casa durmiendo, leyendo, surfeando en el internet - haciendo nada. Tratando de recuperarme no más.















LA SELVA AFUERA. Ya descubrí que no tengo que ir al extranjero para encontrarme en una selva. La jungla está al otro lado de nuestra calle. En este año el verano llegó tempranito y todo está verde ya. Espero que alcance tomar un par de fotos del río y de la vegetación cerca de mi casa, antes de que... bueno, antes de que llegue pleno verano con vistas diferentes.

IGLESIA. El martes ensayamos con los chicos y practicamos una cumbia viejota. Chévere. ¡Que sentido de humor tiene mi Señor al darme una vida así aquí en Finlandia! Todavía no he aprendido vivir como lo hacen los finlandeses. Ya no me importa, no mucho. Hoy había almuerzo del día de las madres en la iglesia y yo pasaba todo el día en la cocina. Bueno, salí para un ratico para interpretar la prédica de un pastor nigeriano quien nos visitó. El finlandés pude practicar solo después de volver a casa. Ya las he felicitado a las madres de mi familia. ¡Feliz día! madres, y ¡gracias por enseñarme mi idioma tan hermoso!

WORK. The fights are still there. I still like my students such a lot. I want to emphasize: they are not little, cute kids. They are adults who are able to show their opinions as well and sometimes they do use strenght to express them. That's why I've used ace bandage in my hand for some days. They are still challencing me every day in many ways. They always surprise me with their potency and sense of humour.

HOME. The past days I've had a flue. The Friday and Saturday I spent at home sleeping, reading, surfing in the Internet - without doing anything. Just trying to recover.

THE JUNGLE OUTSIDE. I found out that I don't need to go abroad in order to be in the jungle. There is a jungle on the other side of our street. This year the summer began very early and everything is green already. I hope I'll manage to take a couple of photoes of the river and the vegetation near my home, before that... well, before the midsummer with different sights.



CHURCH. On Tuesday I practiced an oldie cumbia with the guys. So nice. What a sense of humour has my Lord as He has given me this kind of life here in Finland! I haven't learnt to live in the way of the Finns yet. As for me, it doesn't matter a lot, not a lot. Today there was a Mothers' Day lunch in the church and I spent all the day in the kitchen. Well, I came out for a moment to interpret a Nigerian pastor who preached us. The Finnish language could I practice only after getting back home.
