Razones para disfrutar del invierno / Reasons to enjoy of the winter

En este mes he tenido algunas oportunidades de salir con mi cámara. Aunque no he podido hacer tantas cosas en el hielo o en la nieve, he tomado fotos de los demás haciéndolo. Así se ve el invierno de Laponia.



































In this month I've had some opportunities to go out with my camera. Although I've not been able to do so much on the ice or snow, I've taken photoes of other people doing it. This is how the winter is looking like here in Lapland.

Alguna gente y tanto que pensar / Some people and so much to think about

Les cuento que he vuelto a ver a mi gente que vive tan lejos de mí. El campamento latino y la visita de mi hermana han sido los puntos culminantes de este mes. Además he pasado tiempo con gente de este nuevo pueblo mío.

También he pensado mucho. Mucho. Por ahora ni sé yo misma lo que estoy pensando. No hay palabras, pero por ahora me siento bien. Por estar aquí, por tener mi gente y cosas aquí y allá. Por vivir no más.



I'm happy to tell you I've seen again my friends living far away. The Latin camp and my sister's visit have been the highlights of this month. I've spent time with the people of this town as well.

Also have I been thinking a lot. A lot. For now neither I know what I'm thinking on. There are no words, but for now I feel great. Just to be here, to have my people and things to do here and there. Just to live.

Tantos idiomas / So many languages

Acabo de acordarme por qué el febrero se llama helmikuu, "mes de perlas".
Ayer el sol se dejó ver después de varias semanas. Hoy disfrutamos de lo mismo, y yo decidí que de verdad voy a aprender a tomar fotos... algún día.

I just remembered why the February is called helmikuu, "pearl month".
The sun showed up yesterday after many cloudy weeks. Today we enjoyed that, too, and I decided I'll really learn to take photoes... one day.
