Como prepararse para el invierno largo / How to face the long winter

Ahora llevo un año viviendo en el norte de mi país.
Estos doce meses me han servido en hacerme más finlandesa de nuevo.
He vuelto a mis raíces y hallado nuevas.

Pero al respecto a las cosas que me he traído de la capital
veo que todavía hay algo que hacer antes de que sea laponesa de pura cepa.



Now I've lived one year in the North.
In these twelve months I've become quite Finnish again.
I've got back to my roots and found new ones.

But when I look at things I've brought with me from the capital city
I see that there's still a way to go before being a real Lapp.
