No me gustan mujeres cantantes. A ver, quizá en persona sí, pero quiero decir que no escucho su música. Bueno, ahora sí lo hago. Ayer lo hice también. Ya no me conozco.
Ayer no se me dio ganas de estudiar y por eso pasaba explorando el mundo de la música latinoamericana. Y bastantes mujeres cantantes encontré. Confieso: hay buenas también entre ellas.
Me acordé de mi amiga que me prestó unos CDs suyos cuando yo estudiaba español. La cantante era mujer, y la música tenía ese estilo latino que definitivamente no me gustaba. Pero la escuchaba, bueno, para aprender el idioma. ¡Cómo me sacrifiqué! Después viajé para Colombia y ustedes conocen el resto del cuento.
Ayer descubrí que no es solamente la música latina que soy capaz de escuchar. Se trata también de algunas mujeres cantantes.

I don't like female singers. Well, maybe in person I could like them, but I'm saying that I do not listen to their music. Well, just now I'm doing it. Yesterday I did it as well. I don't know myself anymore.
Yesterday I didn't want to study so I found myself looking for Latin American music. I found quite many female singers as well. I confess it: there are also good ones among them.
I remembered my friend who lent me some of her CDs while I was studying Spanish. The singer was a woman, and the music had that Latin style in it I really disliked. But oh well, I was listening to it just in order to learn the language. That self-sacrificing was I! After that I travelled to Colombia and you know the further part of the story.
I realized yesterday that I'm able to listen not only to Latin music, but to some female singers as well.
