Llueve.
Llueve demasiado.
Tengo que salir para la uni, mi bici ya me espera allí afuera.

Dentro de media hora estaré en la uni, mojada y cubierta de lodo. Tan rico.
¿Quién quiso mudarse a Finlandia?

It is raining.

Miedo. Frustración. Soledad. Preguntas, muchas preguntas. Desorientación. Añoranza. Cansancio.
Preguntas, de nuevo: ¿Por qué yo? ¿Qué será de todo esto?

Pero yo sé que es necesario que esté aquí. Es mi lugar ahora y por eso será de bien. Habrá valor y fuerza para cada día. Y gozo.



Fear. Frustration. Loneliness. Questions, many questions. Disorientation. Longing. Tiredness.
Questions, again: Just me, why? What will be the result of this all?

But I know I need to be here. This is my place for now and that's why it will be good so. There will be courage and strenght for every day. And joy.

Otra vez sobre las frutas / About the fruits, again

Me comí un mango super delicioso. Demasiado dulce para una persona. Tan grande que tendría que ser compartido con alguien. Que lástima.

I ate an extremely delicious mango. Too sweet for one person only. So big it should be shared with somebody. What a pity.

Con estos se anda / This is what you use to walking

Está congelándose el río. Ayer vi algunas fotos del verano y me acordé de que así también se puede vivir, con calor y todo.
Estas fotos las tomé en el verano pasado. Así en noviembre ya no tengo tantas ganas para usar sandalias...

The river is freezing up. Yesterday I saw some summer photoes and remembered that it is possible to live like that as well, in warm weather.
I took these photoes during the past summer. Now that it is November I'm not willing to use the sandals anymore...

Advertencia / Caution

Hoy se me cayó mi casco. No, yo no me caí. Pero no me había puesto el casco y se cayó del manillar de lo cual lo había colgado. Mi casco se rompió.

Niños, siempre que montan bicicleta, pónganse el casco. Para que no se rompa.



My helmet was broken today. No, I didn't fall down. My helmet just dropped down from the handbar I had hanged it on.

Children, always when driving a bike, please wear the helmet. That's how it will not break down.

Confieso que soy rara / I confess I'm strange

Ratón me retó en su blog para que revele cinco hábitos raros que tengo. Después de contar sobre mis costumbres curiosas voy a retar a cinco personas más para que hagan lo mismo.

1. Soy adicta de aguacates. Últimamente no he logrado salir del mercado sin comprar una. Al venir a casa no puedo hacer nada antes de que haya comido esa fruta. Por eso trato no frecuentar en el mercado.

2. Me encanta tomar fotos de cosas bizarras. En Colombia me culpaban de que en mis fotos se podía ver también aspectos feos de aquel país. Creo que me podrían decir lo mismo aquí en Finlandia.

3. Tengo más conocimiento sobre la historia y música latinoamericana que sobre la finlandesa. Por favor, no me piden contar sobre esas temas. No sé mucho de ellas.

4. Disfruto de la lluvia fuerte y de los treinta grados bajo cero. Esto no quiere decir que no necesite el sol también.

5. De buena gana lavo ropa y hago pan a las diez por la noche. En horas más tempranas muy pocas veces me interesa hacerlo.

¡Ja! Quiero retarlas a Sailalai, a Ieppi, a Angela, a Oleanteri y a mi hermana. No sé si les gustan retos como éste, pero no importa. De todos modos ya saben la rara que soy.



Ratón challenged me in her blog to reveal five strange habits of mine. After telling about them I should challenge five people to do the same.

1. I'm addicted to the avocados. Lately I've not managed to leave the market without buying one. When coming home I'm not able to do anything before eating the fruit. That's why I try not to go to the market too frequently.

2. I love taking photoes of bizarre things. In Colombia I was blamed of the fact that in my photoes there were also ugly things of that country. I think you could say it to me here in Finland as well.

3. I know more about Latin American history and music than about those of Finland. Please do not ask me to tell you about them. I don't know a lot about history and music.

4. I enjoy heavy rain and thirty degrees below zero. I'm not saying I don't need the sun.

5. I can happily wash clothes and bake at ten p.m. Earlier I'm scarcely interested in doing that.

Great. I'll challenge to Sailalai, to Ieppi, to Angela, to Oleanteri and to my sister. I don't know if they like doing this, but it doesn't matter. Anyway they already know how strange I am.
